ABOUT ملخص

Collaboratively in a 5-days workshop in Ramallah’s Community Art Centre we will host the heart of the projcet: From April 14th – 18th local communities (craftsmen/-women in the fied of pottery) will create together with German and Palestinian artists, designers and technologists new objects and patterns, which will be enhanced through new technologies. All collected information, such as 3D-Data files and programmes, will be published open source.

المشاركون في الورشة على مدار 5 أيام في حوش قندح – المركز المجتمعي للفنون البصرية سيتبادلون الحديث والخبرة عن السياقات التي يعملون فيها والتقنيات التي يستخدمونها، والتي ستدمج مع تقنيات حديثة، تنتج أشكال جديدة هجينة مستوحاة من العملية التي تبنى عليها الورشة. كافة ملفات الطابعة ثلاثية الأبعاد ( التصاميم ) والبرنامج ستنشر من خلال مصادر مفتوحة.

The artistic process will research in an additive method: Local communities (craftsmen/-women in the field of pottery) will create together with German and Palestinian artists, designers and technologists new objects and patterns, which will be enhanced through new technologies.

الورشة ستقوم على منهجية جمعية ما بين المجتمع المحلي وتحديدا حرفيين من النساء والرجال العاملين في مجال الفخار )، وفنانين ( مصممين وخبراء تكنولوجيا ) من فلسطين وألمانيا لإنتاج تصاميم ومصنوعات تتدخل فيها التكنولوجيا.

How can we actively and supportively design the process of cultural identity building in times transformation? And in which way can new forms of expressions and new technologies be embedded in the production and articulation of everyday culture?

كيف نستطيع تصميم عملية بناء هوية ثقافية في عالم التحولات؟ وبأي طريقة تستطيع الأشكال الجديدة للتعبير والتقنيات الحديثة أن تساهم في عملية الإنتاج لتعابير الثقافة اليومية؟

The participants will exchange their contexts in order to explore the urban environments of Ramallah City and to discover narratives.
